Special Moments
We love turning special moments into lifelong memories — here are a few of our favoties

We had a truly unforgettable wedding night spent at Inn at 500! Everything was so comfortable and lovely, the perfect way to end our special day!

Last year, right before Christmas, we decided to surprise my eight-year-old daughter, Jane, by picking her up early from school and taking her for an overnight stay at the Inn. She was so excited to have a night away with all of the attention on her and away from her two-year-old twin brothers! My husband and I were pretty excited about that too!
She was so impressed with the complimentary drink at check in and felt so special. I brought her Christmas dress and we got dressed up and had dinner on-site, where the bartender made Jane his famous Italian soda. We had such a fabulous time and have decided to make it a yearly tradition. Thanks for the amazing memories! See you in December!

My long-term girlfriend and I stayed New Year’s Eve a couple of years ago, and after suffering a monumental loss.
We struggled and finally made it to a place where we truly feel that our future is here in our hometown of Boise, Idaho.
12/21/23 we married in Boise and returned for our second stay at the Inn at 500. We loved our stay, and it holds memories for us that will be long-lasting.

We had absolutely the BEST stay at your Boise location last year and became fast fans!
Our son who is turning eight on 7/11, said he wanted to "MOVE IN!" The beautiful lobby and sweet snacks catering to all ages, the lovely room amenities from the grand view of downtown to the incredible window seat bench and fireplace and bright coordinating decor, to the awesome location near the best local coffee house (mom approved!), the shopping and sights... wow! The staff was courteous and engaging and beyond helpful!
We can't wait to return Inn at 500 Capitol! Thank you for your kindness and hospitality!

Within the past year my husband and I have had some significant health challenges.
My daughter knew I was struggling and really needed some time to myself to unwind and relax. She gifted me a night at your hotel and it was amazing!
I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast in the restaurant in your lobby and just had the best time… relaxing and regrouping all by myself!
My daughter is very thoughtful of others' needs and always thinks of herself last!

It’s because of the “Inn at 500”… My son and I during a Christmas stay, decided to make a move here. It was such a beautiful enhanced time created by their staff, that it created so many personal touches that made the Magic happen!
My daughter shipped holiday gifts and a lit Christmas tree - and their staff actually set up the tree and put all the gifts under it and the Christmas pajamas on our bed. When we arrived at the hotel and opened the door to our room, it brought tears to our eyes. This simple little touch was all we needed that made us fall in love with your hotel! When we had dinner at the Inn‘s restaurant with the scallops tenderly placed on a bed of delicious mashed sweet potatoes - the magic deepen and widened
Thank you for treating us as a magical family and inviting us into your hotel and your city! We decided after your gracious invite… And made the move late March. Living in Boise during the summer is like a full-time holiday… All of the events makes it even more special!
Thank you to your staff, Josh and everyone!!

In February 2023, I was coming home from a business trip and had booked a stay at the Inn at 500 for my last night as a little treat. I got in quite late and was greeted by the very gracious and welcoming night manager. He gave me the absolutely delightful news that my room had been upgraded as a courtesy.
This was a beautiful and a very welcome sight after a long day of travel.
My son had sent along his favorite stuffed animal, a little meerkat, to keep me company on the trip. Naturally, the meerkat had engaged in many photo ops throughout the trip and he couldn't resist another in this elegant room. The amenities were spa-like, calming and very refreshing. The view from the balcony was peaceful. In the morning, I was blessed to have some time to enjoy my stay further, making myself an early coffee, relaxing in front of the fireplace, and then having a delicious light breakfast and cappuccino that I had ordered the night before. Of course, the meerkat joined me. It was a flawless way to end my trip and allowed me some much-needed quiet time before going home. My son was of course delighted to see his little meerkat enjoying such tasteful surroundings.
Whenever I imagine my next hotel stay, it looks just like the Inn at 500 in my mind. Thank you for making such a lovely memory possible.

My wife and I stayed last year for my 46th birthday at Inn at 500. We have never splurged on my birthday, and when I looked at hotels with beautiful views in downtown, the Inn at 500 kept coming up. We were both blown away by the service from the moment when the valet attendant came out to greet us, to being welcomed and offered a beverage when signing in. When we walked into our room we were both blown away with the room and view! We had dinner in our room and to this day I keep talking about the steak I had and how great our meals were. I tell everyone about the Inn and highly recommend it. This year our daughter turned 17 and we stayed in another room which she was blown away with also. My wife and I have plans this year to stay this August in a room, for other daughter’s wedding since it’s going to be up the road at the train depot in Boise. We also have plans of returning in September for my wife’s birthday weekend and again in October for mine! This is our true staycation in the most beautiful city in Idaho with all the views just a few feet away at the outdoor balcony.

My wife and I had tickets to a concert at the Knitting Factory to see Allen Stone and decided to make it an overnight getaway. The Inn at 500 seemed like the perfect place to celebrate a wonderful weekend together. We checked in early afternoon and were immediately impressed with the atmosphere and many amenities. I immediately slipped into the hotel robe and totally relaxed until we got ready to eat and walk to the concert. We dined downstairs and had a fabulous dinner. After an amazing show we returned to the hotel and sat on the decks of our corner room to enjoy views of downtown and the park. It was a total escape for us and we were only twenty minutes from our home. We look forward to our next staycation at the Inn at 500!

We are from Twin Falls and my absolute favorite place to stay has been Inn at 500 since you opened. For special holidays (birthdays, babymoons, anniversaries) we have stayed with you.
One birthday in particular I had been wanting to stay in one of the Basque themed rooms - when we got there I asked my husband… he said he forgot to request it.
I was bummed, but not bad. However, I DID say, “….you better hope we don’t get the Vandal room then.” I’m a BSU alumni and I have friends and family that are die hard vandals so it’s always a “fight”….
That being said… we get to our room and I’ll be darned if it wasn’t the Vandal room. We’ve stayed many times and never ever gotten this room… but that one time… We had a good laugh and he heard about it for probably a year following. We still had a great stay.
Thanks for always giving us a great experience!!! (except that one time of course)
