The Valet/Bell position serves as the first impression for the Inn at 500 and are tasked to deliver exemplary guest services. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, be passionate about internal and external guest services, possess good multi-tasking skills, and be a detail-oriented team player. Essential job duties include being the first guest contact, assisting guests with luggage, parking and retrieving guest vehicles, guest shuttles to and from locations in Boise, delivery of requested amenities, and proactively determining the needs of our guests and sharing information about the Inn and Boise area.
Requirements include: Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, driving record, and background check. Must be able to operate manual and automatic transmissions. Upbeat and positive attitude, professional demeanor is a must! High school diploma or GED equivalent.
The Rooms Attendant performs routine duties in cleaning and servicing of guest rooms under the supervision of the housekeeping supervisor. Room attendants promote a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and should also be able to address guests requests and problems.
The night auditor is the acting manager on duty when a Front Office Manager on Duty is unavailable. The night auditor is responsible for ensuring that our Inn at 500 Capitol guest service standards are met and each guest has a very special experience. In addition, the night auditor is responsible for ensuring that all hotel accounts are balanced, and all hotel operations including, but not limited to valet, check-in/check out, and hotel security are properly maintained.
This position is responsible for checking guests in and out of the hotel, making reservations, assisting guests with hotel related questions, finding creative resolutions to problems, making guest deliveries, among other duties. Our ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills, good decision-making skills, can resolve conflict and work well in a team environment. Previous experience in a customer facing role is preferred, but not required. Must be able to work weekends, mornings and holidays.
