Inn at 500 Fall Girlfriend’s Getaway

Some of our fondest travel memories are the trips we’ve taken with our favorite ladies. Whether it’s local pals just taking a break from “real life” for the weekend, college roommates reconnecting or a special celebration (looking at you, bachelorette party), Boise and the Inn at 500 Capitol make a perfect pairing for a fun fall getaway with the gals.

Stay/Sleep

On a budget and want to share a room? The Inn at 500 Capitol, located in walkable downtown Boise, has lots of rooms with two queen beds. But no matter how much you love your girl squad, you may want your space. The Inn at 500 has connecting room options, too.

Get Outside

Apple picking? For fall? Groundbreaking. But it’s classic for a reason, and Boise has a ton of picturesque orchards nearby that are perfect for packing a picnic and spending the afternoon picking your own apples. Anderson Apple Ranch is a top choice.

The Greenbelt along the Boise River is beautiful year-round, but fall may be our preferred time to take a stroll or bike ride on it thanks to the cooler temps and fall colors. You can access the path (which is about 25 miles long) just a few blocks from the hotel. The Greenbelt also connects to some fantastic Boise breweries, like Lost Grove Brewing, should you need a break and a pint.

Brunch

Hemlock’s, located at the Inn at 500 Capitol, has bold and delectable offerings (both in-room and in their vibrant restaurant) that makes us drool.

Wine

Girlfriends and wine go together like, well, chocolate and red wine. Boise has easy access to the gorgeous Snake River Valley wine region and its dozens of wineries, but downtown also offers excellent opportunities for tasting without the drive. SCORIA offers aVineyard Lounge in downtown Boise that’s open Thursdays through Saturdays with a chic and modern vibe.

Whatever you choose to do, enjoy being together, and have a great time in Boise!  Book your stay today!
